The Louisiana Youth Seminar was established in 1971 as a unique and progressive seminar for high school students. Every year the Seminar is held at Louisiana State University for one week in July. During this fun-filled week, students participate in many activities such as icebreakers, student mixers and political campaigns and elections. LYS also offers goal setting sessions, speech writing and delivery
instruction, as well as theme competitions.

Don't miss the excitement of the Louisiana Youth Seminar! Registering is easy — you can register ONLINE or BY MAIL .

Registration Information:

LYS tuition is $395 (LYS is a non-profit organization. 100% of the tuition is used to cover food, housing and operating costs.)
Registration is limited to 250 students total - 20 students per school.
To help ensure your place, send in your registration form and $150 deposit by May 15th. The tuition balance will be due at check-in.
After May 15th, please call toll free (866) 463-6579 or e-mail: registration@louisianasbest.org.
$150 of the registration fee is NOT refundable after June 15th.
Tuition includes housing, meals, supplies, and an LYS t-shirt. An additional $10 refundable key deposit will be collected at check-in.
Upon receipt of your deposit, a confirmation letter will be mailed.
