History has shown that past delegates and staff are the best supporters of LYS and LYS lives today in large part because of the support of past staff support. So, we appeal to you today to connect with LYS. Take a minute to reflect on your days at LYS and recall your thoughts and feelings from your years on staff. Then, ask yourself: What difference has LYS made in my life? If you find that LYS has made a difference, we would request your support. You can support LYS in many ways, including:

• Come to LYS…..always the third week of July….at LSU in Baton Rouge! Be a part of the magic!
• Commit to recruiting AND registering delegates. You can register delegates online.
• Get active as a member of the Executive Committee, either as a VP or as an Assistant. You can get active by contacting Sonja Pruitt, Executive Director, at sonjapruitt@gmail.com.
• Give money…..whatever amount you can give. You can make a donation online or by mail.
• Seek donations from friends, family, colleagues, businesses, or foundations on behalf of LYS. We have example letters and addresses for businesses. We will guide you in the fundraising process. You can get active by contacting Jo Pease at jo.pease@sbcglobal.net.
• Give of your talents or make donations in kind…. For example: Creating a new brochure, print our brochure and program, make presentations about LYS in your community to groups who work with students.

The list is endless. We know you have many talents and can help us spread the word about LYS. As Nike says, just “Do It!” Just reconnect.
