Former Delegates

History has shown that past delegates and staff are the best supporters of LYS and LYS lives today in large part because of those who have attended by LYS and whose lives have been impacted. So, we appeal to you today to reconnect with LYS. Take a minute to reflect on your days at LYS and recall your thoughts and feelings from that week in July that you spent with 200 delegates and with those “red shirts.” You can support LYS in many ways, including:

• Come to LYS…..always the third week of July….at LSU in Baton Rouge! Stop by and say hello and reconnect to the magic of LYS!
• Commit to recruiting AND registering delegates. You can register delegates online.
• Give money…..whatever amount you can give. You can make a donation online or by mail.
• Seek donations from friends, family, colleagues, businesses, or foundations on behalf of LYS. We have example letters and addresses for businesses. We will guide you in the fundraising process. You can get active by contacting Jo Pease at jo.pease@sbcglobal.net.
• Give of your talents or make donations in kind…. For example: Make presentations about LYS in your community or to groups who work with students; contribute to printing of publications or materials used at LYS.

The list is endless. We know you have many talents and can help us spread the word about LYS. As Nike says, just “Do It!” Just reconnect.
